国家记忆影像展在首都华盛顿里根国贸大厦为期一周的展出， 在开幕式上由中国海外协会 副会长 何亚非，中国驻美大使馆 公使 吴玺，国会议员 哈曼等致词。何亚非特别提到：我们要记住历史教训，战争给人类带来灾难。和平是其它一切事情的前提，如果没有一个和平环境，中国不会有今天巨大成就。这次影像展出对于中美两国来说有着重要意义。
